Spend an afternoon delving into characterization and dialogue in the best way possible- through playful exercises that open up the imagination and activate expressive tools.

Diane’s theatre background and thirty-year career as a multi-dimensional storytelling performer give her a unique training and perspective on characterization and dialogue. Learn how to bring the characters in your story to life in this interactive workshop for all levels. From animal Characters to Folkloric and true-life personages we’ll explore them all and the things they might say! Bring a potential scene or two from some stories you would like to work on.

Diane Edgecomb is a transformational teller with a rich background in the theatre arts. Her dynamic storytelling embraces elements of theatre, movement and song bringing each piece vividly to life. A featured teller on NPR and winner of a Year’s Best Performance award for her theater work in Boston, Diane’s storytelling has been seen at prestigious venues throughout the country and internationally for over twenty-five years. Her workshops inspire a renewed vision for our world as well as encouraging each person’s expressive and narrative abilities.
