From the Land of the Midnight Sun: Sami Folktales in Context performed by Pernille Bineau

On the top of Norway you find Sapmi, the land of the midnight sun and home of the Sami culture. Norwegian storyteller Pernille Bineau shares traditional Sami stories about humans who change into bears, meetings with people from the underworld, Stallo the Sami troll, and transformed wolves. Pernille brings a deep knowledge of Sami culture to her telling and will share her insights with us as she performs.
