New Kazakh Films Screening

On June 29, Saturday, 5-7pm, Alma Kunanbaeva will be screening a few short movies created in 2018 by students of the Department of Academy of Film and Television at the TURAN University in Almaty.

This University is one of the first and largest non-state universities in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was established in 1992. Turan University is a full-cycle educational institution: lyceum – college – bachelor – master – doctorate Ph.D. – dissertation council.

All films have English subtitles.

All films will be screening in the US for the first time ever.

The screening will be introduced and commented on by Alma Kunanbaeva.
